Rodial Glamolash XLL Mascara Review

Rodial Glamolash XXL Black Mascara was free with the August issue of Red Magazine! Rodial claim that this mascara is an intense black, long wearing formula that makes sure eyelashes are 'maximised from day to night' and gives them 'supercharged volume.' This mascara contains carnauba wax to bind the mascara to the lashes and prevent clumping. The beeswax helps to condition the lashes while soluble collagen makes them look shiny and thick. Due to the the beeswax this mascara isn't vegan. Rodial Glamolash XXL mascara comes in a matte black thick tube which is different but a bit clunky, it doesn't exactly scream luxury to me as a £24 mascara should. The  mascara has a natural cone shaped bristle brush. It definitely makes your eye lashes look longer and as you can see from the photos it makes eyelashes look thicker too. Ghost Eclipse Perfume EDT Review

Firstly lets take a moment to appreciate the beautiful bottle which is similar to previous ghost incarnation Deep Night. The warm colours of  Ghosts Eclipse bottle remind me of orange sunsets, exotic holidays to Morocco and desert countries such as Saudi Arabia and Jordan. 



With this months Marie Claire Magazine UK (September) comes a travel sized bottle (EDT 3ml) to pop in your bag. The bottle is a roller ball version which makes it super convenient to apply without showering anyone else nearby in perfume. However I do feel that a spray lasts longer than a swipe with a roller ball.

Ghost Eclipse smells like the original ghost fragrance with an orange fruity twist. Immediately after applying it smells very citrusy and then settles down into a more musk and freesia combination.
The top notes that create the first impression are very fruity, containing  bergamot, lemon, mandarin orange, blackcurrants, peach, apple and marigold. The middle notes or core scents are lotus, freesia and rose while the base notes that you can smell later on are amber and musk.  This is a fresh scent and because the perfume is light it doesn't set off my asthma which can be triggered by heavier scents. I am a fan of the original scent and also own Ghost's Deep Night, I think if you like fresh fruity fragrances you will like this.

This perfume would be appropriate to wear for any occasion especially for early summer evenings. For night outs though you may want to take it up a few notches and opt for a heavier sexier scent.
Unfortunately the perfume doesn't last a whole day more like 4 or 5 hours so will  require another spritz or two during the day and a EDP is not available as of yet.  A single application of the  roller ball lasts roughly two hours. A full sized 30ml is around £21 so compared to pricier perfumes this won't break the bank. This perfume is  similar to  Moschino's I Love Love and D&G's Light Blue so if you prefer a chicer bottle to Moschino's I Love Love or want to fork out less money than Dolce and Gabbana's Light Blue this is a good alternative.
